Franny and Eddie were playing the Scary Maze Game when they heard their mom scream. They hurried down the stairs and looked for their mom. She was in the kitchen and she was sitting on the floor. Her water broke and she slipped on it. The two girls were quick in helping their mom up. Eddie then ran to their next door neighbor to help them take their mom to the hospital. Franny, on the other hand called her dad on the phone. It’s a good thing that Vincent, their neighbor, was home. He helped Mrs. Brown to the car and took her to the nearest hospital. When they arrived, Mr. Brown was already there. He called his wife’s doctor along the way to the hospital. He thanked Vincent and asked him if he could take the girls home.

Later that day, Mr. Brown informed his daughters that their mom has successfully delivered a baby boy. The girls werre very happy to hear the news.

Our family has been passing around a little “bug.” Nobody has been violently ill, just feeling lousy. When I had it, I spent my time curled up on the couch reading. It really helped the miserable time pass faster. Then, when my kids got it, I realized we had been depending on their schoolbooks and the library so much there was basically nothing here for them to read. Then I got a fantastic idea.
